Sharing Made Simple: An Introduction to the Social Web

Welcome to the wiki for the workshop on "Sharing Made Simple: An Introduction to the Social Web". The workshop was held at University of Wales, Newport on 10 September 2008. Details of the event are available on the UKOLN Web site.


Participants at the workshop were invited to:

  • Register for WetPaint, which will enable you (and others) to see pages you have created and edited (although note that registration is optional).
  • Familiarise themselves with the Wiki using the Test page.
  • Introduce yourself to fellow participants, and describe what you hope to gain from the workshop and topics you would like to see covered.
  • Describe opportunities for use of Web 2.0
  • Describe the barriers and ways of addressing the barriers.
  • Provide feedback on the event.
  • Add your personal action plans.
